Established facilities management, run like a small firm.
IFM Group — Inspired Facilities Management — was built on a simple observation: commercial clients rarely leave a maintenance provider over price. They leave because nobody answered the phone, nobody remembered the building, and nobody owned the problem.
Our story
We started with a handful of retail and office clients around Fleet, doing planned maintenance and reactive repairs that larger contractors treated as too small to bother with. Those clients recommended us to their landlords and managing agents, and the work followed the reputation into London.
Today we deliver cleaning and waste, handyman cover, compliance works, and licensed asbestos management across London, the Southeast, Southwest and Midlands. The structure has changed; the operating principle has not — one named manager, accountable for your building.
We hold SafeContractor accreditation, and we are set up to satisfy the pre-qualification requirements of institutional landlords and national managing agents.
Detail over scale
We grow only as fast as we can keep standards. Every new contract is priced on a real survey, not a spreadsheet assumption, and taken on only if we can resource it properly.
Directly employed teams
The people in your building are ours — vetted, trained, and paid properly. Subcontracting is the exception, used only for licensed specialisms, and always under our supervision.
Evidence, not assurances
Certificates, air-test results, waste transfer notes, and audit scores are issued as standard so you can demonstrate compliance to insurers, tenants, and auditors.
Straight answers
If a job is outside our competence or better fixed than replaced, we say so. Long client relationships have been worth more to us than any single order.
Environmental responsibility, practically applied.
Responsible facilities management starts with reducing waste, extending the life of existing assets and choosing lower-impact products wherever the work allows it.
- Efficient planning. Visits and specialist works coordinated to reduce repeat journeys and disruption.
- Waste diverted from landfill. Segregated recycling with tonnage reporting for your ESG returns.
- Repair before replace. Repairing assets and reusing suitable materials wherever it is safe to do so.
- Lower-impact products. Refill-based cleaning chemistry and reduced single-use plastic on site.
